Ivor J. Hill, Certified General Appraiser
in the State of Colorado, has experience
in all aspects of the appraisal industry.
He is also an active advocate for fair
and ethical appraisal practices and has
worked tirelessly with real estate and
law enforcement professionals to
promote industry ideals that will benefit
both the industry and consumers. He has
organized seminars for the awareness of
mortgage fraud that have been attended by
over 1,000 professionals from across the
nation.
Ivor is the appointed
appraiser member
of the Colorado Attorney General's Mortgage
Fraud and Foreclosure Task Force and
has been an expert panelist dealing with
valuation and appraisal issues in an era
of predatory lending at the National
Community Reinvestment Coalition's Annual
Conferences in Washington DC.
Most
recently, Ivor has been
awarded the honor of designation of Fellow
of the Royal Institution of Chartered
Surveyors (RICS).
The RICS
membership is the most
respected appraisal designation in the
United Kingdom and was granted its Royal
Charter by Queen Victoria 134 years ago.
RICS members currently appraise in over
100 countries worldwide.
Ivor has
been appraising internationally
for
over twelve years and has been in the
United States for the past seven. He also
has extensive experience in surveying,
marketing, and business management.
Ivor, his
wife Jennie and daughter
Katherine, live on a mountain ranch
southwest of Pueblo where they enjoy their
horses, dogs, philately, and the sport of
archery.
